The section of track between this station and Yio Chu Kang is the longest between any two SMRT stations in Singapore. The travel time from Yio Chu Kang to Khatib is about 5 minutes. Source: Wikipedia

A very busy station during morning rush hour; very crowded especially when it comes to taking the escalators or stairs, or even the lift.
