A very quiet station with not much around

Don't assume you'll be able to park here anymore. Due to New St. Closing their parking, this small station is always full now. Try Bescot station instead.

Nothing improves here... Travelling at the weekend? then make sure you've already got your tickets as office WILL be closed and machine is often out of order.

Under-staffed!If the one and only attendant is down on the platforms clearing rubbish, you'll only have the very temperamental machine to buy a ticket. Allow extra time at this station!

Ticket office staff very helpful, saved us £8 on family day tripper tickets instead of individual tickets!

Ticket office is ALWAYS closed on a Saturday. Really not helpful to luddites who can't work the ticket machine easily.
