Art Deco/Moderne design; one of the best known of stations by Charles Holden. Circular, flat concrete roof, supported from a column in ticket hall, topped by a feature resembling a Tesla coil.

Really nice little station. Always well policed and quiet. Oyster machines like to mess up a bit though, beware in the early morning because sometimes you can't top up if office is closed.

It's the one of the only stations while underground you can still get signal and 3G on the platform
