Alcohol is forbidden in the station, so don't get there too early thinking you'll find a bar. You'll be quite disappointed.

Interesting place, you see Greyhound passengers, Amtrak passengers, and guys who just got out of the "Work House" with their property boxes! People watching is a premium here.

Ask your conductor to make an extra loud announcement recommending people not remove their shoes.
