mostly cut rock paths and steps with a little concrete sidewalk mixed in. not a difficult hike but it is a bit of a workout. reward yourself with a foot massage later.

Iconic trail. Relatively easy hike, though last few meters with stairs and incline can be a bitch. Gorgeous views, gets quite crowded. $1 entry fee, bus #23

Absolutely fantastic. You must be prepared with water, good footwear and a can do attitude. Meet you at the top.

Absolutely worth doing if you're in Honolulu. It's not a difficult hike and the view is incredible.
