Join the rewards club, a great deal. Ulta always has some sort of coupon, bogo, or give away going on. I bought Matrix shampoo buy2get1free, nail polish bogo, got $5 off w/coupon and a gift! $26

A notch below Sephora but Ulta actually has regular brand products and you won't feel intimidated. They are also very good about stocking new OPI nail polish colors.
