It's a nice, short hike to a gorgeous overlook. Can be crowded when the weather is nice though.

One of the best hikes or trail runs in Chattanooga is the Cumberland Trail, specifically this route from Signal Point to Mushroom Rock. Magnificent views of the Tennessee River Gorge!
