Located by the Amtrak "station" Quick walk up the hill to town center including L.L.Bean and many restaurants. New building, service and breakfast is up to the higher standard expected from the brand.

Ask for the room with a window that doesn't face a wall 5 feet away. Wonderful hotel, amazing staff. Windows that face walls, epic fail.

I didn't get any cookies when I checked in but they moved us from double queen to a king without any fuss. AC works - Room is like the frozen tundra and it is July. :-)

definitely sign up for "hilton honors" if you're not already a member...it's a really great rewards program, just ask the front desk about it.
