good food, limited range of ales, lovely garden, superb playing area for kids behind the pub. there is an additional small playground and huge fields to run around on the other side of the road

Thursday night is fish and chips. Surprisingly large vegetarian selection available. Particularly good is the mushroom stroganoff with veg and rice.
