Beautiful 16th century townhouse with a maze of pillars and beams. All the beers are from Sam Smiths brewery.

Beautifully restored, steeped in history, a real gem for Gloucester. Polite staff, comfy chairs, good drinks.

What a shit hole. Nice building, but incredibly rude manager.

The courtyard out the back is a real suntrap and a great place to enjoy the tasty Samuel Smith's ciders in the summertime.

I used to work for Samuel Smith's. Good beer, some lovely old pubs. Raikes house is steeped in history, and Smiths have spent big money modernising it. Enjoy. PS, Try the oatmeal stout!
