Probably the most popular tea room in Hay-on-Wye. It's run like a soup kitchen, but with an undeniable air of class and a strong suggestion of organic, vegan, local and sustainable sourcing.

Nice food. But lengthy wait for on out visit (45 mins) kitchen seemed a bit chaotic. Good venue for tea and cake or soup (as you help yourself). Some dishes were really good value and others less so.

Cozy in the winter (grab a seat next to the open fire) and a good place to sit out in the sun and watch the world go by when it's warm. Cakes are great and the soup is good value.
