As far as local coffee goes, Recess and Café Kubal are both better bets. Starbucks has a more consistent dark roast than Freedom.

Bold coffee is weak. You want strong coffee go to Starbucks. For a place that is competing with SB they should step up their game with coffee and the menu

Step up to the counter for a basic coffee or specialty coffee drink, grab a seat and enjoy the free WiFi. If it's nice out, sit outside or take a walk around beautiful Franklin Square.
