Highly recommend to hike here from Discovery Lake. Decent hike and very nice view even though this place is very close to civilization.

It's not the most beautiful hike. As a tourist in San Diego I wouldn't put it on a must see list. A lot of it is paved and while it does go up very high, it isn't particularly pretty.

Keep in mind near the bottom you have to go through a neighborhood and re- find the trail

Cool walking trail at the top of the park to the cell towers. Watch out for the occasional snake.
