Not a history buff but I learned a lot about the survivors of the Alamo & about the Alamo itself! If you're just not into that than play International Home Hunters & compare with O'Henry's #ynottravel

Susanna Dickinson, who survived the siege of the Alamo, lived in this house after the famous battle. It was lost in history when it was enclosed by another building. It opened in 2010 as a museum.

The Dickinson Museum shares the grounds and meeting space with the neighboring O. Henry Museum, which preserves and retells the weird legacy of another controversial figure in Austin's history.
