The only Muslim rulers ever to have ruled Kerala was Arakkal dynasty and their Arakkal Palace is still preserved as a museum exhibiting the old artefacts and utilities used by then rulers.

Arakkal Kettu was the residence of the former Arakkal Ali Rajas, the only Muslim royal family of Kerala. Protected by the Archaeological and Tourism Department, this palace complex is today a museum

A worthwhile visit when in Kannur. Gives you a glimpse into the lives of the Arrakal royal family. Not the best museum you will ever go to but well maintained and quaint.
