This building is absolutely amazing! The tour guides are informative and friendly and aren't afraid to tell you about the prisons dark history. You can even get locked in a cell!

Donna was an excellent tour guide. Really enjoyed the tour, very interesting and informative. Very detailed, you really get to see a whole lot. All the prisoner art work wad very fascinating.

Maggie was the best tour guide ever! She had so many stories to tell about when she worked as a prison guard there. It was considered the most violent prison.

This Gothic structure opened in 1876 and finally closed in 1995. In between, the Penitentiary saw countless riots, fires, and the execution of nearly 100 prisoners. It's rumored to be haunted.

We took the North Walk Tour and Chuck was our your guide and he actually worked at the prison. Tons of orbs and a great tour guide! Recommend it!

100 year old prison that they say is haunted. See the Wagon Wheel where they conducted the hangings and Sparky the Electric chair is avail to sit in
