Beautiful place. Much fun walking amongst the geese or ducks or whatever those funny little animals were

A beautiful serene place I've been coming out since a kid. Happy to be able to share it with my kids. Fantastic and accessible for All Seasons and lovely for both day and a night walks

Great place for a walk with your binoculars and a bag of feed for the birds. Tasty homemade soup and chunky bread in the Visitor Centre cafe

Easy to get by bike to along the canal, say getting on a Dunkirk, near the Tennis Centre.

Bring some bread to feed the ducks and if you're running, early is better if you want to avoid dodging people, dogs and cycles.

The walk to the Trent is amazing. And not too far with kids.
