Guided tour is not worth the cost (3 Euro) or the two hours spent standing while seeing the monastery. Go to mass and walk around on your own afterward.

I suggest the guided tour. 3eur. they explain the history of Monasterio de Samos. The guide is really good.

3 Euros to see inside with guided tour, I'll settle for outside & spend the $ on yummy octopus! After a while all these churches, convents, monasteries start to blur.
