If you said that Boston has an ‘uptown’ area as well as a downtown area, this is the central location for uptown. Everything is here: library, restaurants, 2 MBTA lines; Comm Ave promenade; S. End.

There was a market on Friday (no idea if it's daily though). Big and spacious place for lunchtime or just for walk. Huges buildings as well. It's close to anything in Boston.
