awesome cafe and hair dresser in a former bank building. This is definitely one of the coolest places in Halifax. The food is excellent - especially the salads.

If you're at Whet Cafe, try the greaseless Curried Lentil Samosa or a Panini (we had bacon, egg, tomato, arugula and cheddar) — among our top sammies ever! End with a coffee and a cute cupcake.
