Officially opened in 1904, the 1,722 meter long natural ice track is at the same time the largest ice sculpture in the world. It held the 1928 and 1948 Olympic Games and will also host the luge, mono-bob and skeleton competitions of the Lausanne 2020 Youth Olympic Games.
