in Greek times it could 10% of Syracuse population, that is 15.000 spectators. From mid may to mid July you may able to attend a show.

Greek theater w great views over Ortygia. Although still in use, so big parts of it is covered in tribunes, you get a sense of the original structure. Free entrance every first Sunday of the month.
