New place was where Shakespeare died in 1616. It was demolished by a Reverend but its foundations can still be seen. Nash House, next door, was owned by Shakespeare's granddaughter.

Like all the birthplace trust sites around Stratford this is well worth a visit. Informative, atmospheric and fascinating with child-friendly activities too.
