A Changing of Guards ceremony takes place daily at 12.15 pm from April to August. Duration will approximately be 40 minutes. Make sure to get there early (11.45?) to get a good spot.

The Royal Apartments was quite interesting, especially with a guided tour it is even better. But the rest is very disappointing.

If you are in “gamla stan” you need to visit the royal palace! You will love it!

Been to lots of royal palaces but this one really stuck out. Quite impressive. Intricate ceilings in many rooms, beautiful parquet floors, and some really wonderful portraits. Worth the trip. 👍🏽
